Post Graduate Programs Directorate

The Postgraduate Programs Directorate is pivotal in coordinating and supporting graduate programs, developing plans, expanding collaborations, and ensuring the quality of educational offerings. From tracking the students’ progress to developing capacity-building programs, the Directorate works closely with academic units to enhance graduate education and maintain educational standards. Consequently, the directorate is accountable for the following main tasks:

• Coordinate, support, and monitor graduate programs
• Prepare short and long-term plans, monitor their implementation, and expand programs in collaboration with colleges and departments
• Develop guidelines that facilitate the execution of the graduate programs
• Promote, develop and evaluate the graduate programs and their curricula
• Track students from admission to graduation, prepare a database for graduate students, report to the relevant departments, and analyze the program’s data
• Develop a quality framework, ensure its implementation, maintain program quality, and monitor educational resources
• Work with academic units to recruit qualified postgraduate staff, develop capacity-building programs for postgraduate students and staff
