Distance and Continuing Education

Injibara University offers continuing and distance education as part of its higher education programs. Recognizing the importance of making education accessible to those unable to pursue regular studies, the University is committed to provide continuing education opportunities. The Program was first started in 2018 by offering a wide range of disciplines through weekend and summer undergraduate programs. Over time, the scope of the program expanded to include postgraduate programs. The Directorate of Continuing and Distance Education ensures the provision of quality, relevant, and equitable education. The Directorate has a vision to be a leader in delivering high-quality continuing education through offering target programs aligned with the country’s priorities. It is mainly responsible to:

  • Conduct marketing research and launch programs with high demand
  • Explore opportunities to offer targeted programs to potential customers
  • Review and refine the incentive system to ensure motivation of the staffs, departments, colleges and other stakeholders for their efforts to strengthen the continuing education
  • Review program courses for their relevance
  • Evaluate the use of technology and other innovative strategies to enhance better services to the students
  • Explore the viability of tuition rates for different courses and programs
